    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

Certainly when it comes to the walls that separate the units from the halls it is drywall and some sections of unit to unit are also done in drywall. But it seems that when possible the structural walls are laid out so that they provide separation between units. In any event the current...

    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

Steel reinforced concrete makes a lot more sense for a mid-high rise residential building. You don't want large contiguous floor plates like in an office setting and you are concerned about noise and fire protection between units. As such, when you do a concrete building your structure...

    Union Station: Northwest PATH Expansion

The section that runs in front of the Royal York will be closed for a year, that's the north bound only portion so it won't affect the most important section that runs under the tracks. It means all the traffic coming north on York will be forced to use University. It will impact morning...

I have no idea which it is, but if I were to guess I'd say both.

Toronto CityPlace Puente de Luz Bridge | ?m | ?s | Concord Adex | Francisco Gazitua

Excellent news, I can't wait to use this. Funny enough, there's been a security guard posted at the south end 24/7 stopping people from climbing the fence to use it. I would have if he wasn't there.

    Toronto Southcore Financial Centre & Delta Toronto | 159.71m | 45s | GWL | KPMB

Based on the photos above you can see that the "prow" shape on the south facade of the Delta is going to be fairly pronounced.

    Toronto Market Wharf | 110.33m | 33s | Context Development | a—A

It'll be turned into a park if I recall correctly.

Toronto Pan Am Village in the West Don Lands | ?m | ?s | DundeeKilmer | KPMB

My recollection is that it will be the welcome area as well. Described as where they will process the athletes before they head into the village. But that area is not part of the construction obligations relating to the winner of the village project.

That block wasn't part of the Pan Am villiage bid. Not sure I've ever seen proposals for it.

    Toronto Parade at Concord CityPlace | 127.4m | 44s | Concord Adex | P + S / IBI

No notices as of today. They must be getting close, I noticed this morning that there are now some very thick cables hanging from the towers to the bridge.

Check out the webcam, it's been adjusted and offers a nice view of the city now. http://www.collegeparkcondos.com/webcam.html

    Toronto Massey Tower Condos | 206.95m | 60s | MOD Developments | Hariri Pontarini

It's across from a great shopping mall, it's on the subway, it's a 5 minute or less walk to the entire financial district, it's in an area with an active street life and many options for restaurants and entertainment. It's not a good place for detached houses, but for a condo full of people who...

Mine was installed this morning. A lovely black mesh.

    Toronto L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

I wonder what kind of schedule impact the cladding problems are having. By this point they should have had at least 10 floors covered and been able to start interior work on those levels. The lack of cladding must be having a knock on effect for all the interior finishing work. Someone...

Toronto CityPlace Puente de Luz Bridge | ?m | ?s | Concord Adex | Francisco Gazitua

They're nearly done the landscaping work on the cityplace side of the bridge and all the construction debris has been cleaned up. Also the other day I noticed the traffic lights used to access the ramp on front street are now working. I would say it can't be more than a month away.
