Amazing what some trees will do. These'll look even more beautiful in a few years. We really need more greenery in the downtown core.

I've seen some units without them, so I'm hoping to get lucky. :) Interesting that some places cast them inside the concrete though.

When we bought our house, the upgrades were added to the purchase price. We didn't know any better at the time, so didn't inquire further. Will be asking this time, though.

Yes, normally they'll add it onto the purchase price. You can, however, ask them if you can pay for it separately.

Thanks for the info. :) Is the appointment just for picking the appliances, or are you meant to select the finishes as well? I'm really interested to know whether the Verdale appliancse and finishes differ from the Bijou ones. Hope to hear your report. :)

Does anyone know if the finishes are going to be similar to what they have at Rouge Bijou? And do the two phases use the same interior design company? I'm not too impressed with what I've seen of the Bijou interiors so far.

Thanks for the continued updates, Solaris. I'm glad they decided to go with black frames for the windows. I was afraid they'd go with brown or grey, which would only contribute more to the overall beige-ness of the buildings.

I'm not too happy with the delay either. I'd originally thought I'd have a year at the unit before the need to relocate for my studies arose. Now, depending on how things go, I might not even get to live there before I might have to move across the country. :(

Sounds like you've purchased a unit in one of the buildings. May I ask which one? We might be neighbours. =)

Thanks for the updates, Solaris. =) To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed with the choice of bricks. Much, much darker than what I expected based on the concept art provided by the builder. Overall, not pleasing to the eye imho. =/
