Well said. Interlining a proposed Eglinton Skytrain with the current srt would help with the transfer issue at Kenned. This would also open the doors further expansion on the BD east along Eglinton once ridership supports it.. Plus Skytrain vehicles would fit perfectly in the tunnels...

True but Metrolinx is known to be dragging their feet when it comes to LRT technology and I'm sure their waiting for the best opportunity to opt-out of it. In retrospect I’m pretty sure that if ROB FORD was in power about 2 years ago, the LRT proposal along Eglinton wouldn’t even exist today...

the only real benefit I know ICTS have over LRT is that they can run driverless but Im not sure TTC Union would like that. Me personally they also use 3rd rail technology which I personally feel is more artiscally appealing. (no messy wires hang around)

I'm pretty sure ICTS guideways are cheaper in comparison to subways. ICTS guideways can also negotiate steeper hills and sharper turns.

I think its becoming more and more clear with Metrolinx and Ford's team that a subway to STC will not be feasible. I think its been talked about on here already but I think people are realising there no point of replacing one grade seperate system with another, plus the current srt alignment...
