Casa Condos (Cresford Developments) - Real Estate -

Nice pick up at 5. I was in the presentation center a few day ago and the finishes in the model suite were very sharp. It seems to be a hot spot that everyone wants to get in. Your right, years ago pre construction was cheaper than re sale, but that does not seem to be the case today. I find...

Casa Condos (Cresford Developments) - Real Estate -

If you look on MLS they are selling for $600-700 per square foot with west city views in Casa. So at $587 with view he did good. As far as the new projects you mentioned, the price per square foot is high. Not even worth buying.

Congrats. The building is very nice. At $587 per square foot, you got a good deal. 1+1 seem to be selling for more than that. Did you get the 635 square foot unit? I have also been looking at them myself.

    Toronto Boutique Condos | 106.37m | 35s | Urban Capital | ZAS Architects

Ok. I was thinking on buying there but I think I am going to hold off. The units are overpriced. I am going to be looking elsewhere.

I assume you are facing North. What floor are you on? Did you buy pre construction or re sale? Yes, you are right about the South view. My friend lives on the 11th floor facing south. At night the view is super nice.

Maybe it does have something to do with the area or views. I am not sure. I do feel that the units I have looked at for sale in phase 1 are very overpriced. Overall, I like the Building.

Same here, in my early 20's I use to party in the area frequently. It has definitely slowed down now. Not nearly as congested at night. I have a friend who has an upgraded unit facing south with unobstructed City/CN Tower view. The view is actually quite nice. They really need to fix that...

Nelson street is not as bad as everyone makes it out to sound. You would have to think that the new projects going up in the area (Shangri-La) will soon change the reputation of the Entertainment District. I have a friend that lives in the Boutique Condos and I have not seen this craziness that...

Yes, Aspen Ridges should have their presentation center there soon (End of summer). It should be a nice project. Seems to me now that the re sale units in Phase 1 are overpriced. I like the building, but it does not justify to demand the prices that the re sale is listing at. That is why some...

Good Market to buy now? Will it cool off?

Thanks for the reply. I think your right. The re sale market may dip a little but I don't see some outrageous drop. I am finding that pre construction is priced fairly high now. Can't find anything under $500 psf.

Good Market to buy now? Will it cool off?

Hi, I am currently looking at re sale properties in the downtown area. They seem to be floating around $500 psf and up. Some even close to $600. I keep hearing people talking about the market cooling off. From what I am hearing, this is suppose to happen in a few months or in the fall 2010...

Any chance of developers raising prices?

Looks like right now prices for pre construction and re-sale are at a peak high. I have been looking around at various new pre construction projects and most now are $600 psf and up. I mean is this normal? Even re sale is now 500 psf and up. Do you think the the market in downtown Toronto...
