Both towers are getting an interior reno/gut and facade renewal.

There are extensive permits pulled for the interiors of 2180. Nothing for the exterior as yet.

I don't see any permits pulled for 2200 for major work yet. I wonder if this is just testing some potential materials? Not sure.
 
In the early days of UrbanToronto we shared an office right on that corner but on the 9th floor. Great space and location.
 
I know it's more "modern" and thus seen as an improvement, but I would rather the glass were replaced like-for-like as the dark tint seems important to the design intent of the overall office tower, in my opinion.
I think most of us here would be in full agreement with that.

Unfortunately based off of what we're seeing so far, as well as Oxford's other tasteless designs, they dont have any good taste in building aesthetics and design.

And I think it's only a matter of time before the rest of this 2180 plan is watered down and diluted design-wise as well.
