The floor above seems about finished too. I'm looking forward to the Union Station bridge opening. It'll be so much easier to explain to someone in the Great Hall how to get to the bus terminal instead of the circuitous directions to Scotiabank Arena. People would walk from the Great Hall over the bridge to CIBC Square, come down these escalators and turn left into the teamway towards the bus station.

It does indeed appear to be weather protection. As a resident of the neighbourhood, I am really looking forward to the PATH connection and a nice ground level landscaped experience between The Esplanade and Bay/Union Station. No more having to walk up to front Street.

Am I weird for saying that the finishing touch that needs to happen it's the CIBC logos Just adds a little bit of pop to the top of the towers but God these things look good only thing rivaling them is definitely forma for visual app

It looks like we might have an ice rink for the grand opening next year. I’m not sure if they are installing a temporary/annually or a permanent ice pad. If they have enough compressor horse power they could run it all year. Maybe get rid of the salt.
