While there is an existing path crossing Mimico Creek by Echo Valley Road, it's a bummer that you would need to use the sidewalk on Burnamthorpe to get to that path which is rather unpleasant...

With 2025 about to come to an end, I am trying to update my bike lane tracker file to confirm which bikeways were installed this year. I was able to confirm the following so far:

Since I had today off, I finally got the chance to ride the new Finch West LRT a.k.a. Line 6. To add a twist to this journey, I did a return trip via bike share to find out which was faster given early reports of the LRT being slow...

Pickering City Council voted in favour of a motion on Monday urging Parks Canada to reopen that Rouge River bridge connecting Pickering to Toronto.
