I think the Finch LRT team should just be retained and keep them working considering they probably had the best go at a rail transit project in 21st century Ontario history. A competent government would be extending the LRT Finch Station 6.5km east AND Pearson Airport 8.2km west.

Yup. Subways, subways, subways for Toronto are needed badly. LRTs in Oshawa or York Region make sense.

Put it in the calendar. Time to be on the first train on Finch ever.

Maybe it's better it hasn't opened. I imagine that the level build-up and intensification on Eglinton has already made it so if the LRT runs it will be a human sardine tin generator. Nevermind the traffic signalling priority and inclement weather without mentioning the risk of traffic accidents...

This is a nice building. Looks great in person. Would be so much better to have this copy and pasted all along major avenues like Lawerence, York Mills, Sheppard and Finch. Can’t build anymore condos on Eglinton though, the LRT is already over capacity.

Just build a real, heavy rail SUBWAY under Eglinton Avenue in Toronto. Forget this tram train trouble it is not worth it and will never work as originally imagined.
