    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Fine, but I was only going one stop (Laird- Leaside a.m., reverse evening). There was one day with a 10 min wait, but otherwise ok. I'm still trying to figure out my optimal routing... For mornings, it may be Line 2-51-5-11, but evening may be better to go to line 1 (11 or 11-5). Trains are...

GO Transit Fleet Equipment and other

Are we sure they don't mean 12027? I'm not sure this can happen in less than 2 years, but I'll concede the possibility of 10,000 years...

Canada at the 2026 Milano Cortina: Winter Olympics

IMO, kids spend too much time playing one sport. Also the immense cost of becoming a hockey goalie (and hockey in general) is a barrier. We should look at reducing costs, though the business of hockey won't like that.

    Woodbine Centre

Maybe something like the MacArthur Glen Designer Outlet Mall at YVR could work? Woodbine Centre is probably too far from YYZ to rely on travellers. Also, I'm not sure Pearson gets the same affluent foreign traveller demographic as does YVR

    Toronto Coach Terminal Redevelopment | 147.7m | 44s | Kilmer + Tricon | Studio Gang + a—A

A few years back, I was questioned why I was crossing the border in a rental car, and the border guard was incredulous that I did not own one.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I use Leaside (Bayview) daily. The angled corridor goes to the main building. The one that leaves the concourse at a right angle goes to the secondary exit (NW corner). You are 100% correct though. There is no way of knowing either at Leaside or Laird which entrance you are going to, and I...

What were they testing when they "tested" Line 6? Surely some of these failures should have shown up...

    Canadian airline industry (general discussion)

Maybe WestJet figures (or has done some research) people from SSM/North Bay will travel through Calgary to Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC destinations (plus perhaps some overseas destinations). So maybe it's not about flying west to go east

President Donald Trump's United States of America

Its almost like the sitting president and administration have exposed that the whole "checks and balances" doesn't work in this reality

    Toronto 2024 Olympic Bid (Dead)

Tremblant has a vertical drop of 645m. Apparently Olympic downhills are typically 800-1000m of vertical. I suspect it's not a big enough hill.

    Toronto 445 Coxwell Storage | 36.88m | 9s | Foundry Acquisition Corp | Romanese Architect Inc

Currently this is a paint and hardware supply store (east side of Coxwell, abutting the rail line). There is a small park on the south side. I have to LOL at the trains shown in the render, though I suppose with electrification they may resemble that

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5: Laird Station | ?m | 1s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

A couple of thoughts after three days of using this station. Some already shared in the main Eglinton Line 5 thread. 1. There are no red stickers marking where the future third car will be and suggesting riders move further down the platform.. 2. There is no indication as to which exit you are...
