Just as an aside, hard to believe Landmark Place/ Century 21 held the height record outside of Toronto for 35 years! Hamilton will be forever capped at the height of the escarpment .

Wonder how much SGA will contribute in capital build for a fabulous foyer named after his child. That rework or perhaps add could really give the York Bay corner a signature entrance. Could we get a glowing crystal (ala ROM)

It seems like a very interesting approach, given that they are going to town on the back portion . Wouldn't they need to stabilize the front wall with something more rugged than scaffolding?

Looks great and much welcomed. Not sure why they dropped the height , but if it can get it going along, then let's get it approved and underway.

If we had a council focussed on generating a stronger and more diverse tax base (ie. not hiking the existing base), including a speedy approval process, we could afford much more (pick the need). Actually I would be all for bonuses for a council that could achieve key financial growth and...
