Soil samples are being taken this morning after a long period of inactivity.

There’s a crew drilling samples this morning at 1134 Queen St E, the vacant lot “for lease” between Stratengers (RIP) and Scout.

East end landmark, Stratengers at Queen & Bertmount, is history. “We are finally retiring” say the signs posted at the entrance today. The restaurant was given a makeover 8 months ago. There’s no development notice posted on the site right now, but there was an application a few years ago...

Fahrenheit Coffee is opening within the OTOMOTO / Toronto Moto shop at 1345 Queen St E (Queen & Knox). 👍👍👍

The parking lot has closed as of June 30th.

Arvo Coffee still has coffee beans available for pickup, for anyone interested in excellent coffee that is the polar opposite of Balzacs.

Patel Gallery currently on site has exhibitions taking place here until at least June 2020 according to their calendar.

I strongly recommend Tandem Coffee if you find Neo too busy and you're willing to venture 10 minutes east into Corktown.

I guess it didn't help that it's located next to a busy construction site and there's a much more interesting coffee shop across the street.

New Sam James Coffer Bar location coming to Parkdale, I think near Grand Electric.
