Is the plan still to realign Harbour Street so that it flows naturally into Downes? If so, will there be any public space at the NW corner of Harbour and Yonge?
I think it's such a miss that a lot of these TOC proposals offer such meagre retail components. We are talking about thousands of new residence within walking distance of this development and a station that is slated to get high frequency service in the coming decade (don't get me started)...
is my memory failing me or didn't the Ontario government announce like a year or two ago that they'd be building separate tracks on the Milton line to make it more reliable and usable for passenger service?
I wonder whether a cut and cover tunnel under Atlantic, Hanna, or Jefferson would even be viable. Doesn't seem too intricate from my non civil engineering background lol.

Apologies for reviving this thread for no reason, but I am a former long-time resident of Toronto who just came back from a trip to the city, and I was thoroughly surprised when I walked by Yonge and Maitland and saw how this building turned out during my most recent visit. As a former resident...
I for one appreciate the fact that the TTC has taken some liberty with these secondary entrances to make them a bit quirkier here and there. Certainly makes for a more aesthetically-varied transit system while still remaining within the same design language.
I fail to see, however, how a...
