My only concern is the lot is nicely graded now and completely flat, just like a surface lot. Maybe the grading is just to tidy up after the demolition.
It wasn't that at all. They had to excavate the earth away from the side of the building and build a partial retaining wall so the scaffolding could have a place to be installed. They started this in January but abandoned it due to the never ending cold.
We are very pleased. Of course there were issues to start with however they have been very good in fixing them promptly. The building is still under construction although it is winding down now. Hallways are completed to the 24th floor. They seem to do them at 2-3 per week.
You can really get a sense of how much wider the new sidewalk is going to be. There were a bunch of City of Toronto people hanging about today looking at the other side of the street by the market. Hopefully that means something is going to happen there too.
