I was at city hall today and saw that they’ve updated the model quite a bit! Was interesting to see for the middle block of parkside village. I know it’s just a placeholder but it originally was supposed to be 55 storeys many years ago but I hope they do something tall and interesting in this...

I love that they opened a food basics but the green really takes away from an otherwise nice podium 😭

I understand the need for more housing but I love the massing as is with the one tower. The stepping down/divisions of the podium create a good balance and more pedestrian feel to the space.

I feel like confederation is shaping up to be a potential “Main Street” of the area. It’s way too wide still but has quite a few restaurants already.
