I wonder whether Queen-Spadina is excluded because of the Ontario Line construction at that intersection. There are frequent lane closures/reconfiguration and paid-duty traffic control while equipment is being delivered etc. It would complicate evaluation of the TSP changes.
I am originally from the UK where these roundabouts were common. Because they are designed to speed traffic through an intersection smoothly, they tend to be quite dangerous to cyclists and pedestrians. Drivers tend to push out into the flow on the circle without looking for other users.

It's a shame that this one (1596 Dundas W) is being thrown up with the cheapest materials, and the least consideration to its context, possible. The Dundas and Richie building is a beaut.
There is quite a bit of information on this thread if you work backwards. One example would be this useful post from Cukilo which is two pages back… I don’t see evidence of phase 2B yet, and in the current market conditions I imagine that it is not imminent but that is amateur speculation.

I understand the value of restoring the street grid in terms of safety. It has been a game changer in similar contexts in the UK.
But (and there's always a but) connecting the smaller streets e.g. Augusta through from College down to Queen is going to make them a good by-pass (rat run) to...
There is also the issue that KW and Guelph have large universities, with increasing proportions of students commuting from the western suburbs in addition to the Guelph (and KW?) residents who commute into Toronto and back. The GO bus service is struggling to serve the Milton, Brampton and...
Just curious, but does any one know why York United want out of the Lions Stadium? The PanAm athletics track was torn out to make the stadium attractive to soccer teams.
It's interesting that Algoma is going ahead with this. They are seriously under-enrolled with the loss of international undergrads (which would have been a big motivator for building accommodation) and burning through the reserves that they had built up. Lots of lay-offs coming....
