I didn't see any when I was there, and from the looks of pictures, no.

The portal is right at the end of the platform at Finch West station. One can literally see light from the outside. It should be comfortable during summer as it is below surface, but in winter it is as enclosed as a bus shelter without doors (in terms of temperature).

It's better to just wait at the concourse and head down to the platform when the train approaches.

The stations and stops of the line are built for SoCal weather. Waiting at Humber College and Finch West (slightly better) is unpleasant in winter.

Your example of going from Woodbine to Ontario St. will remain a streetcar trip because the distance between Leslieville station and Ontario St. is short (< 2 km). Going to Ossington or even Spadina, however, it will be quicker transerfering onto OL at Leslieville. Also as I recall, the...

I believe most (if not all) GO stations are staffed at least during operating hours.
