Looks like First Capital will be going ahead with the next phase that will replace part if not all of the parking lot. It was on the Committee of Adjustment's agenda for a two storey building with restaurant zoning and 50 odd spaces of underground parking

Sorry I know I sound clueless but what are you talking about??

Maestro's talking about the southernmost portion of the Metro Parking lot, adjacent to the Toy Factory Lofts and across from the Brazen Head on East Liberty. They have applied to get rid of that part of the parking lot and erect a 2 story building with retail and restaurants. I hope it's a nice building and not like the hideous strip mall beside Metro. In my best hopes for this, it will allow you to not see the Metro or the parking lot as you're driving east along East Liberty.

This is much bigger in scope; but overlaps with the previous proposal for 85 Hanna.

Thread here: https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/toronto-85-hanna-avenue-43m-10s-first-capital-zeidler.30137/

@Automation Gallery in that same thread indicated rumours of something bigger; though I believe he was hearing the Metro would be involved as well.

Apparent aerial view of the site:

I have shown the 2 blocks I understand to be part of this proposal from the above description, and have excluded the Metro for now.

Nice to see this would remove ( I presume) all of the surface parking in this area.

Yeah, the Metro lands most likely will be another phase,
Jesus it's pretty disturbing the amount of towers they are packing and squeezing into this area...very sad😨

Hold on.............let me check if I have a fever..........or I'm in the wrong timeline?

LOL

I thought the only pertinent question would be why none of them are proposed at over 400M?
