2026 Toronto Mayoral Race

If they’re driving on King through Yonge, then they’re running a red light. It’s permanently red for cars. If the city did this at every King intersection and added red light cameras, they’d be printing money. Drivers would learn soon enough to pay attention.
Until DoFo's chauffeur tries to drive through. Then he'd rewrite laws to make it all illegal. It's pathetic.

Anyway I agree with you

Michael Ford reveals why he may run for mayor of Toronto — and what he’s done since leaving Queen’s Park

Both his former colleagues MPP Wong-Tam and MPP McMahon echo what I heard about Michael in that he was friendly and well-liked by his colleagues during his tenure at City Hall.

It's not mentioned in the article, but based on his public social media, he appears to be in a relationship with a man, and I'm not sure if that could hurt Michael in wooing conservative Toronto voters.

Michael Ford and Brad Bradford met at the Sheraton across from City Hall in a public place, certainly knowing that they would be seen. What are they plotting? Michael Ford runs clearing the field from other conservatives and raising media attention in what will otherwise be a boring election cycle, Ford drops out and endorses Bradford boosting him towards the finish line?

I don't know but the "blonde" in this photo really needs to keep up with dying her hair roots or simply stop pretending she's a blonde.

I don't know but the "Ford" in this photo really needs to embrace that he's a Stirpe and simply stop pretending that he's a Ford.

Even though the 2026 municipal election won't officially launch until May 1, ABC Toronto - a right wing counter to Progress Toronto - has already started issuing attack ads against Mayor Olivia Chow. While Chow is not without her faults, these ads are misleading considering a lot of the problems mentioned were inherited by Chow after thirteen years of failed Ford and Tory policies and she has been doing everything she can to fix them even with a hostile Premier. This is a reminder why we need to go all out to not only ensure Chow gets re-elected once she confirms her plan to do so, but also get as many progressives elected (or re-elected) as possible.
