I don't think the accent lighting (maple leaves) is operational, so that's probably a rendering.

Can't the condo board vote to fill up the white gaps? Probably the least expensive way to fix the grotesque mistake. Add some white cladding to get cohesive blocks of white clad wrap around sections or at least some kind of straight line geometric shape. It could really work wonders for this project and make it striking even, matching the crown concept perhaps too. The name also sucks, but if they set on the maple leaf symbol they could add some maple leaf public art at ground level lol. I'm actually serious. How can buyers really take this cladding seriously?

So they don't care at all? I know if they sue the developer, the courts can say they bought subject to change but the shift here is too noticeable to ignore.

I don't think there will ever be a point that this project is striking though if the lighting is done properly on the leaf designs I believe it can be saved to the point that Concord isn't looked out like a total joke for it by the looks of things there are still a lot of finishing touches to be done here and I am holding my final judgment until then

Like all other condos, there’s a disclaimer in the purchase agreement that renderings are the artists’ conception and deviations may occur.
I agree that this development is not worthy of the Canada House moniker. It seems like such a disappointment and a huge missed opportunity. Any of the submissions when they had a design competition for this project ages ago would have been better and much more interesting than these two generic condo towers with some maple leaves decorated on the balconies. The last towers of CityPlace ended in a whimper.
That top floor observation deck is also a let down. From what I remember, I thought the interior walls would rise higher with an elegant curve to meet the ceiling, but now it has that flat slanted ceiling that starts too low and covered in that tacky geometric motif. It doesn’t seem so grand or impressive, and feels rather juvenile.

The pattern reminds me of the ceiling of the amenties area of Concord's Arc project in Vancouver,
which is a "Barrisol" ceiling of stretched PVC which is backlit.
So expect that patterned ceiling at Concord Canada House to be backlit.
