I did ... in an offline chat you and I had last June called - "David Crombie soil".

So at Power and Adelaide the bike lanes were not installed, however it looks like the curbs of the sidewalk were constructed in such a way that fits within the plan for future protected (ish) intersection here.

See the angle/shape of the curb in the second photo and the cutout of the curb in the first photo match the plan for the bike lanes:

Yes, BUT the crossing stripes are in the wrong locations!!! They should be in line with the 'tactile strips"!

Yes, it seems they just did the curbs, not change any road markings. I think there will be traffic lights going in here? So maybe they will do the rest of the work then.

Digging around.......the project appears to be under consideration for advancement to the 2026 budget year. No guarantees!

May need to follow up with the project lead for an updated timeframe.

Speaking of construction tenders, I wonder when the City of Toronto plans to issue one for the Bermondsey to Eglinton stretch of The Meadoway? If work is expected to start this year, they would need to get on this ASAP.

I walked to the area today and there are now(lots of) traffic light poles at BOTH Adelaide and Richmond. No lights yet but I assume the poles will soon be in use. (Soon for the City usually means 'within 6 months').

Yup, you can see them in the photos I took of all the freshly redone curbs at the all the corners of the Power and Richmond intersection.
