It’s slender, but too chunky to be a pencil tower. This tower is really starting to show its slenderness. It would fit right in at 57th ave in NYC.
It would be nice if we could sprinkle in a bunch of pencil **** supertall towers in the skyline. New York has really elevated its already best-in-the-world skyline with these towers. It’s slender, but too chunky to be a pencil tower.
Yes but a lot of those buildings are not aging well or have been stopped completely due to improper engineering You have buildings like the Morgan Chase that are absolutely gorgeous and then you have stuff like billionaires row where half of the buildings facades are cracking and becoming dangerous to pedestrians belowIt would be nice if we could sprinkle in a bunch of pencil **** supertall towers in the skyline. The closest we have to a pencil tower is 50 Scollard, and I think that distinction will last for quite a while. By design pencil tower condos only have a few units per floor. Some of the pencil towers in NYC only have 1 unit per floor. That’s definitely not economically viable here, even during the real estate boom. Now developers are attempting to cram as many units as possible even in so-called high-end projects like Forma. It would be nice if we could sprinkle in a bunch of pencil **** supertall towers in the skyline. Yeah but if I compare it to what they've built on billionaires row it's a lot more intricate than most of the super talls in New York270 Park is hideous.
