I keep seeing grey seats in the renderings. I asked this before but do not believe I got an answer, are they replacing all the seats?
I want to see these matches... Any matches. But I will not pay that kind of money for a ticket
It does seem to be the price only for the Canadian opener. The Vancouver games and remainder of the BMO field games, while still high are a little more palatableI want to see these matches... Any matches. But I will not pay that kind of money for a ticket

Strange. And Toronto is not the only MLS city to experience harsh winters, and not just Canadian cities.MLS has announced a change that will see their league calendar shifted in phase with the European calendar by 2027-2028. Surely this has big implications for Toronto considering the climate and lack of protection from the elements at BMO.
I’m a fan of the open grandstand appearance of BMO (considering the beautiful surroundings), but to attract fans throughout the winter I think, at a minimum, we would need some enclosure to reduce the wind.
Further details from MLS official announcement:
- The 2027-28 MLS regular season will kick off in mid-to-late July 2027 and conclude with the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs and MLS
Cup presented by Audi in late May 2028.- MLS will observe a midwinter break from mid-December through early February, with no league matches scheduled in January.
- Before the change to the new calendar, MLS will stage a transition season from February to May 2027, featuring a 14-game regular season, playoffs, and MLS Cup. The results will determine 2027 qualification for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, Canadian Championship, Leagues Cup, and Concacaf Champions Cup.
There won't be much changing for TFC, frankly, aside from their June/July matches being more compressed in the spring and fall. They simply will play on the road for most of February/October/November like they do now anyway. They won't be playing "winter" matches in Toronto.I’m a fan of the open grandstand appearance of BMO (considering the beautiful surroundings), but to attract fans throughout the winter I think, at a minimum, we would need some enclosure to reduce the wind.
I know that this has been talked about in the past as a potential problem for CF Montreal but it absolutely has implications for Toronto FC too. At least in the case of Montreal, the Stade Olympique renovations are planned to include significant seating bowl reconfigurations and more modern amenities with soccer/football specifically in mind, so they might have a solution to this problem on the table.MLS has announced a change that will see their league calendar shifted in phase with the European calendar by 2027-2028. There has been MLS Cup games (2016 and 2017) at BMO Field in December, and CONCACAF Champions league games in late February, but they probably would want to avoid them as much as possible. There won't be much changing for TFC, frankly, aside from their June/July matches being more compressed in the spring and fall.
