Definitely agree, but the difference between Berlin and Toronto is that the former has a ton of transit options which negates the need for a car. Toronto isn't too bad, but there are still too many vehicles and too many routes where a car is easier and faster to take (Ontario Line will help a ton with this!). Banning parking on streetcar and bus routes unfortunately doesn't remove Ubers, delivery vehicles, etc.
Toronto's network is ok downtown but it doesn't have anything like Schonhauser Allee which as a non-terminus, non-station intersection has street-level trams and buses, elevated metro subway, and underground regional trains at one intersection. I guess the equivalent would be if we added a buried GO Line go through Yonge-Dundas.
