You really are amazingly poorly informed on this. First, Streetcars on King ARE faster than they were before the transit mall, secondly the hold-ups after it became a transit mall and the police got bored with enforcement were mostly at north-south streets where cars blocked intersections. Now there are traffic agents on most of them it's faster again. What's to blame there?
Feels like with streetcars it's always a game of "If only.... if only... if only...." but whatever they change nothing really improves.
