Stuff like that is kind of tricky because the host country owns the rights to use the Olympic rings and associated logos and has to give permission for them to be used. There are exceptions like for example lighting Olympic caldeens during the games but that has to be cleared with the IOC as well.

Even the logo of the Canadian Olympic committee?? Ioc owns their intellectual rights??

So you're saying that the IOC owns the intellectual rights of the Canadian Olympic committee?

The IOC controls the rights to the use of the Olympic rings on a logo for any team and transfers those rights from the time the touch is lit in Grease for the start of the torch relay until the end of the games in the host country to the host country.

It's much the same way how MLB, NHL, NBA and the other north american professional sports organizations own the rights to the teams logos and trademarks and copyrights and can make changes to them.
 
Looks like some of GO’s old “flat face” cab cars are getting a second lease on life as cab cars (rather than being converted to regular coaches), as seen by the paint scheme here. Not sure who to credit the photo to as it was reposted a few times in various forums on other sites.

Didnt ML want to replace all the cab cars with the current CEM ones? What has changed if they are indeed going to use them for cab cars?

My guess is that they plan to ramp up service more than expected before the EMUs arrive and needed more cab cars than just the CEM ones. Probably easier to upgrade the old ones than buy a bunch of new ones.

Indeed - this and another photo which shows the whole broadside of the car have made some serious waves within Metrolinx, as it goes against everything that they had been telling people internally up to now.

(And of course, Metrolinx is quite effectively silo'd, and so everyone I know on the Operations or Planning departments know no one over at Equipment, and thus can't get any first-hand information.)

or maybe they decided it was not worth the money to plate up the windows and just keep whatevers there. Theyll just hook it up to the middle of the consist. Most of these cab cars are quite aged to begin with so it would
be a waste of money to convert them, only to scrap them a few years later.

The paint job suggests they’ll be running front end of the train though, with the wide white part. If the intention was to run them middle of the train they’d get the standard coach paint job.
