Toronto College Park Revitalization with Barbara Ann Scott Skate Trail | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | RAW Design

I thought this site was to open July 1st, but sure miss that date??

When I shot the site either in May or early June, there was no way this site be ready until about Sept then.

Looking and shooting the site today, still a lot of work to be done, even trying for Aug 6 opening.

Still got to build the plaza out to Yonge St as well other areas.

Other than not been ready as plan, coming along nicely and look forward to when it does.

The temporary ramp has been removed:

What's the estimate on how long until all of this will be ripped up again for weatherproofing replacement?

Well, I distinctly remember the last time that was done - in 1988.
If I remember correctly, they installed new waterproofing before they started the rebuilt last year.

That would make 29 years being the 2 dates. Based on what was to take place, it made sense to to replace the existing waterproofing with a new one.

Yes, the normal life of roof membrane is about 30 years.

it looks nice because it's all new concrete - give it 3 years, the whole thing will be one giant mass of grey concrete and depression.
