June's most popular story covered the ongoing replacement of a pedestrian bridge connecting Cadillac Fairview's Toronto Eaton Centre with the Hudson's Bay/Saks Fifth Avenue building to the south. The new bridge is currently being assembled on James Street, and cladding has begun to finalize the bridge structure's aesthetic. In second place, news of the ground breaking for the former Bay Park Centre—now known as CIBC Square—generated plenty of attention as work began on the new office complex.
