Joining Tridel and Hines' cluster of lakefront developments, 'AQUABELLA' is being unveiled as the latest addition to the nascent Bayside community. With the grand opening being celebrated this week, marketing is now ramping up for the 173-unit development, with a new look at the scale model highlighting the project's distinctive architectural features.

Like the neighbouring 'Aquavista' and 'Aqualina' condos, the 14-storey project is designed by an internationally recognized architectural firm. While the former buildings—both of which are now under construction—feature a design by Miami-based Arquitectonica, the community's latest addition is the work of Danish firm 3XN, working in partnership with Toronto's Kirkor Architects.

Across the L-shaped building's roof, the stepped massing serves to open up more views of the water, allowing the landscaped terraces to serve as 'outdoor rooms.'

Below, another view of the scale model reveals the articulation that pixelates the exterior.

The scale model also provides a close-up look at the 7th floor amenity terrace. For those whose suites do not feature an expansive private terrace, the amenity space—which features a pool and cabana area—gives all residents a chance to enjoy the waterfront views.

Targeting a late 2020 completion, the 173 residential suites range in size from 551 ft² to 4,326 ft², offering one- to three-bedroom layouts. Alongside the 3XN Design, the project features landscaping by Scott Torrance, with interiors by II BY IV DESIGN. As marketing for the project ramps up, we can expect to learn more about the design, amenities, and suites in the coming weeks.
