The 2015-opened pedestrian tunnel connecting Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport with Eireann Quay on the mainland has made travel to and from the airport much more convenient in the year it has operated. Despite the fixed-link connection, the 121-metre ferry ride—considered one of the shortest in the world—is still the primary means of transporting vehicles and equipment to the facility. In today's Photo of the Day, submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by dtstuff9, we are shown the ferry shuttling vehicles and passengers back to Eireann Quay, captured from the airport.
