At the time of our September update on Plaza's Musée Condos, the 17-storey Quadrangle Architects-designed condominium development had just reached a height of ten storeys. Now, just 7 months since the project on Adelaide just east of Bathurst reached grade, the 17th and final residential floor of the tower is now in place, and work has begun on the mechanical penthouse level above.

In addition to the seven-storey jump, cladding installation has progressed significantly, with black precast now covering the entire 7-storey base, and with the white precast now having begun to be installed on the middle 7-storey volume.

The darker precast panels have been fabricated with black granite chips mixed in. It is Quadrangle Architects' intention that the granite will "give the precast a special sparkle in the sunlight and a more natural appearance." Many of these precast panels currently appear dirty or patched due to the ongoing construction, though these will be power-washed prior to the completion of construction.

Immediately next door to the west, Harhay's oneeleven Condos, a 17-storey, Core Architects-designed condo, is also nearing its final height. The two developments were started at roughly the same time and excavated in unison to cut costs, and both are now in the process of topping off simultaneously.

Once complete, residents of Musée will enjoy a wide range of amenity spaces, including a ground floor fitness centre and Yoga room. On the second floor, residents will find guest rooms, a cabana, an outdoor pool, whirlpools, a steam room, a theatre and a meeting room, while the seventh floor will be home to an outdoor amenity area featuring bars, couches and a seating area with barbecues. The site will also feature an open-air galleria that connects Adelaide Street to a new 8,000 square foot park on the site's southeast corner.
