It has been roughly three months since the start of shoring work marked the beginning of construction for Aragon Properties' Enigma on the Park, a 9-storey, Quadrangle Architects-designed mid-rise development coming to the Bloor and Lansdowne area.
In the time since, shoring work has been largely completed, and earlier this month crews began excavation work for the development's 94-space below-grade parking garage. Excavators are now in the process of removing large quantities of soil, some of which has been stored onsite temporarily under tarpaulins before being trucked away.
Once excavation reaches the bottom of the pit, the next stage of construction will involve the installation of concrete footings for a crane base, followed by the assembly of the crane itself. Once it is up, forming of the structure's foundations will begin.
The completed development will include commercial office space, and 86 condo and townhome units with over 50 different suite plans. Unit sizes will range from 420 square feet up to 1,567 square feet, with prices ranging from $231,900 up to $999,900. Residents of the completed development will have access to a limited selection of essential amenity spaces, keeping maintenance fees low while still offering common areas like a gym, movie room, and a roof deck.
Additional information and renderings of the development can be found in our dataBase file, linked below. Want to get involved in the discussion? Check out the associated Forum threads, or leave a comment in the space provided at the bottom of this page.
