For four decades, First Canadian Place has stood as Canada's tallest building. Rising 72 floors and 298 metres above Toronto's Financial District, the building is an imposing landmark recognizable by most Torontonians. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Mitul Shah, we are shown a view looking up one of the tower's indented corners, perfectly framing a commercial airliner passing overhead.
