It has been little over two months since we last checked in on the construction site for Plaza's Musée Condos, a 17-storey, Quadrangle Architects-designed condominium development, quickly rising on Adelaide Street West, just east of Bathurst. In the time since our last update, the project has risen six levels to its current height of ten floors, with just seven more residential levels to build before work begins on the mechanical penthouse section above.

The building's step back above the Adelaide frontage is now quite apparent, lining up with the lower portion of Harhay's 17-storey, Core Architects-designed oneeleven Condominiums, rising immediately to the west. Above the lower levels, the first stepped back floors are now rising. The building will rise seven levels above the lower portion, before the building steps back again for the final three floors.

Down at ground level, the first signs of the building's precast cladding are now visible. Portions of Musée will feature a light-toned precast, while most of the lower floors will have a more dramatic, darker cladding. Another major feature of the building which can now be seen is the new mid-block connection through the building, which will comes in the form of an open-air galleria leading to a new 8,000 square foot park on the site's southeast corner.

Once construction wraps up on the side-by-side projects, Musée will have add 440 condominium units to the neighbourhood while neighbouring oneeleven—seen behind Musée, below—will have contributed another 255 units.
