Closed in 2009 due to water leakage into Osgoode subway station below, the decorative fountains in the centre of University Avenue, just north of Queen, are now back on - just in time for the upcoming Pan Am Games. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Randy Hoffmann, we are shown a beautiful long exposure of the fountains, with the South African War Memorial by Walter Seymour Allward visible to the rear.
