Last week we took you inside of Bazis, Metropia and Plaza's Emerald Park Condos at Yonge and Sheppard, for a look at the development's ample retail spaces. Today, we return to the Rosario Varacalli-designed complex to examine the complex's residential amenity areas, which will provide leisure and entertainment to residents of the project's 564 suites.

In our previous look at the project, we covered the first two floors of the complex's shared podium, where residents will have access to a Metro supermarket, an LCBO and a Starbucks, as well as plenty of dining options in the naturally-lit food court. Above these retail levels, Emerald Park will have even more employment potential thanks to plenty of office space found on the third floor of the podium.

Construction continues to progress on these third-floor office spaces, and soon the long spaces seen in the image below will be broken up by walls into individual office units.

One level up, the complex's fourth floor will be the residential amenities level. Residents will have access to an indoor pool and lounge, which will be separated from the adjacent fitness and yoga studio by a clear glass partition.

The pool and fitness centre are both moving along quickly, and it won't be too much longer before the completed space resembles the renderings seen below.

Just beyond the indoor pool area, a large outdoor sun terrace and roof garden will serve guests with an outdoor retreat to entertain guests or just unwind and enjoy the surrounding cityscape. The fourth floor will also be home to other amenities, including games rooms, guest suites, and party rooms that lead out to outdoor terraces.
