As avid readers may be aware, UrbanToronto likes to feature the downtown east of Toronto due to its dramatic sightlines and proximity to the core. Today's photo of the day, from Forum member Razz, fits the trend with a shot that follows the line of The Esplanade west until it hits Toronto's cluster of skyscrapers. We love how the lines of the street grid, the Gardiner, and towers such as L Tower contrast with the vast, dark grey cloudy sky.
