UrbanToronto Forum member Travis has passed along some great renderings for a new condominium development located at 7 Heath Street, two blocks north of Yonge and St. Clair. No official announcement has been made yet, but these renderings (found on project architect &Co's website) suggest the developer is gearing up to launch the project.

The rezoning application that was submitted for the site to the city in April of 2010 lists the applicant as architectural firm Sweeny Sterling Finlayson (a.k.a. &Co), seeking permission for a 13-storey condominium containing 97 units, 30 of which will be rental, in order to compensate for the demoltion of the existing rental structure on the site.

Ground floor detail

The project appears to contain townhouses on the ground floor, behind which the mid-rise tower is located. Sleek lines accentuate those parts of the building which protrude outwards, creating an interesting and dynamic façade.

If you have any more information or would like to comment on the proposal a Forum page has been created for the project here.
