Today's Photo of the Day spotlights a spectacular close-up of the top of the Trump Tower International Hotel & Tower Toronto (photo courtesy of Forum member tomms). We have a perfect view of Trump's infamous spire still in development — the deciding factor for height when it came to designating this one of the tallest buildings in Canada.

From this angle we can also see Scotia Plaza Tower, which was beat out of the competition by Trump Tower for the title "The Second Tallest Tower in Canada," nestled close behind. Trump's spire squeaked by Scotia Plaza by only a fraction.
