Good news on the heritage building front as Oxford Properties has announced a $65 million dollar redevelopment of 111 Richmond Street West. The 15 storey office building was built in the 1950's. It was designed by Peter Dickinson, who had a major impact on Toronto by designing many famous buildings including what we know today as the Sony Centre. Here's a look at the refurbished building.
The building will be redeveloped to LEED Shell and Core standards with an expected completion date of fall 2012. Google is going to be one of the new tenants. A lovely building will get a new lease on life. More here.
