Two weeks ago UrbanToronto published skyline photos taken from the 14-storey Churchill Park Condos at Spadina and St. Clair, and members here responded like it was Christmas: this building has amazing views. Now it's time for a tour through the intimate Quadrangle Architects-designed building. Here's the rendering...

... and here's the late March reality.

Inside the front doors is an elegant two-storey lobby.

Amenities including a party lounge, private dining room, a full caterer’s sized kitchen for entertaining, a meeting room and a guest suite are still being furnished, but we did take a peak in the fitness centre which recently took delivery of its equipment.

So, we'll head up to the top...

... and in. We're still looking outside though: the views here are hard to resist.

While a number of suites are now lived in, finishing work is ongoing on the upper levels. Some of the views from this penthouse unit look across to the 1966-built Tower Hill East building, still an International Style standout 45 years later. The Tower Hill buildings were built by the grandfather of Russell Masters, current Vice-President at Tower Hill Developments, and the Tower Hill East rental building is still owned by the family firm.

There are two model suites available to view in the building, decorated by Bryon Patton and Associates. Patton's decoration of the two suites springs from colour palettes created by Katherine Newman, the building's interior designer. With only 45 units in the 14-storey building, only 20% remain for sale. The units are spacious, never more than 4 to a floor, and they take good advantage of the views provided by the oval envelope of the exterior walls. Some views of the two bedroom and den model suite on the 8th floor.

Yvonne Peterson of Sotheby's Realty and Russell Masters of Tower Hill Development Corporation were our genial hosts for the tour.
