Renovation to the Toronto Reference Library continues as seen in this photo by forum member androiduk. The $34 million dollar restoration is being led by Ajon Moriyama of Moriyama & Teshima Architects. Ajon is the son of Raymond Moriyama who originally designed the project back in 1977.

Here we see the cube that's going to be the entrance starting to be built.

This is what the library's exterior will look like when completed.

The redesigned will bring the 3 storey glass cube entrance seen above, a larger gallery space and information centre, a glass wall along the entire Yonge Street frontage and a new street-level cafe. We can't wait to see it completed.
