Festival Tower and tiff Bell Lightbox By The Daniels Corporation Highlighted

UrbanToronto member Darwin got this telephoto shot of the top of Festival Tower by Daniels at the Bell Lightbox, new home of the Toronto International Film Festival Group.

Steel beams now trace the upper limits of this building, and the big question remains as to how exactly the box on top will become a 'lightbox'. Will films be projected on a giant screen 40+ storeys in the air? Or will more abstract LED generated light pulsate from this lantern? Architects KPMB have not said yet exactly how they intend to finish of this top portion, so the mystery of this towers' ultimate feature will remain until they feel the time is right to reveal it!
