I personally think they're waiting for something to go up on that small office block directly west of Museumhouse, hence the lack of attention given to that space.

Yeah, it'll eventually blend in. But it's still just...I dunno. A weird asymmetry.

Maybe, but it'll have to assume an unusual shape going up, as it can be wider in the bottom--as wide as the current building is--then will have to narrow to not block the windows on Museumhouse. And that's a pretty damn narrow strip there...I mean...like, less than 20 feet? 25 feet? A building that narrow would be...odd.
