Wow, that angle really shows how a different angle on architecture in Toronto. That could almost be a different city. In fact, it looks a bit like parts of Frankfurt that were built in the 50-70s.

But anyways, I don't mind the top. It's clean, to my eye.

A penthouse made from a steel frame on top? Wow that's pretty cool, didn't know they were doing that.

While the term 'penthouse' can refer to both the housing of mechanical equipment and the higher (and often larger) residential units of a building, I am (unfortunately) referring to the former in this case (I could however, obviously be mistaken here).
 
looks nice and what is that rectangle structure of the building at the bottom of the pic?
 
More glazing being installed in the mechanical level this morning despite the wind. It looks quite dangerous the way one of the panels was blowing around.
