Im not sure if Karl Lagerfeld is actually designing the lobbies for the Art Shoppe condos.... someone showed me the conceptual renderings and images for the lobbies that Cecconi Simone has provided to Freed Development. ... why would Cecconi Simone provide those if they are supposed to be done by Karl Lagerfeld? ....

Hope Freed gets his act together. I've heard too many things from several of his projects....from workmanship issues to bait and switch tactics and so on. It's too easy for developers to pull fast ones in this city.

Freed always does this... they use top designers for marketing .... look at what happened with six50 king west condos... they promised that Munge Leung will design that building and in fact they were not involved... Freed got slapped with $6.5-million lawsuit ..... Im not sure why they always lie over and over .... http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2015...n-lawsuit.html

ML were to design the interiors. Core was always the architect.

That article also does not explain the basis on which the lawsuit has been filed. Legally I don't believe it matters that the firm involved was switched but that the switch resulted in a final product that is different enough from what was promised that it constitutes a material change.

If you're going to toss around phrases like 'lie over and over,' you'd be wise to get your understanding of the facts straight first.

Couple photos from this morning. Scaffolding beginning to extend down the Yonge side as well. Parking lot has also been closed up.
