You said it, drum....any one of the 'losing' designs would be an incredible addition to the GTA...

I agree with you both drum188 & yyzer ... however this is such a sad statement to hear ~

"any one of the 'losing' designs not good enough for Mississauga would be an incredible addition to the Greater Toronto Area"

what does that say about Toronto ?? ;)

LOL, well, Solaris, I am not sure that the 'losing' designs weren't good enough for Missy...they were all pretty incredible...

What's interesting is that the public picked the most radical design...I think that people really do want beautiful architecture, perhaps builders and architects under-estimate this...

I hope that Fernbrook will continue on with their spectacular projects in downtown Toronto - after they finish Pier 27 and the L Tower...another MAD project in downtown TO would be sweet...

I got 5 location set out to try to do a time lap from ground to top for both buildings.

I always try to find different angles to shoot for most projects.

Don't want to jinx the project, but I have to say that even as a stump it's still beautiful.

Absolutely. I like how from the north it seems to flare out at the top, while from the west it seems to taper instead!

today's pic by Jasonzed over at SSC....working on the 14th floor...and really starting to twist inward upper right....
