Rushton, The (743 St Clair Av W, Goldman / Lash, 9s)

The tower crane was erected yesterday.

Whoa!! I was there a few weeks ago and no work had yet started on this project other than the hole dug last year.

Was talking to Joe only 2 weeks ago and he said it was only in selling stage.

9 unites will be rental.

Was by the site today and took some shots. Boy is that slab thick and wide. The slab about 3' thick.

That is the only thing in the hole at this time. Hard to say if this is an Potain Luffer MR405 crane or not.

Taken today;

November 6, 2011. Approaching G level.

@Urbandreamer; Yeah that's definitely for something else. However, I'm also puzzled on what that could be. I was walking along St. Clair today and did not notice any visible grey cranes, nor am I aware of any projects at that stage of construction in the general vicinity. What perspective/direction is that photo taken towards? That brown highrise looks like the one at St.Clar/Oakwood.

Could it be 310-320 Tweedsmuir Ave?

When I was by the site some weeks ago, parts of it was ready for work, but no crane base being formed. Other than that, there is only 530 St Clair in process with a crane.

Could be a project that flying below the radar and no thread for it at this time.

I sure love to know where that shot of the Tower crane and boom crane was taken from, as those are no where near this project, nor between Dufferin and Bathurst.

As I rode the 512 from Dufferin to the site as well walked from the site to Tweedsmuire, never saw these cranes in the skyline on either side of St Clair. No crane at Tweedsmuire.

Nice gap in foundation between this building and the existing.

Whoaaa look at all that traffic gridlock in that last photo. St. Clair has 3 new developments, 2 under construction, within walking distance of each other (Rushton, Rise, 500/530 St. Clair)
Who wants to go anywhere near a booming neighbourhood with rapidly increasing land values, plus a good amount of new businessess? What a nightmare St. Clair is, eh Fords?

Indeed St. Clair is only going to get better. I took the street car there recently and I was quite impressed by the speed.
