Hi, what are the knife laws for Toronto?
Can I carry a knife in my pocket and walk down the street? What about in my backpack? Can I go on the subway?
It is an 8 inch (overall length) with 4 inch blade foldable knife.
Near the University of Toronto area, or Scarborough area, either is fine. Thanks for the link, I found a rink. Does anyone know of any other rinks?
Also, wheres the best place to get your skates sharpened?
Hi all,
Does anyone know of any ice skating rinks open during the summer in Toronto? Either for recreational skating or for playing hockey. I've only recently begun getting good at skating and the season is almost over, and I would really really like to continue into the summer.
Hi, I need to mail a standard letter to the mainland US. How long does it take from the time I drop it in the box to the time it reaches its destination? Also, does the post operate on weekends?
Yeah, I need to get myself some FT232 chips. I only have one serial port and a million USB ports and a lot of PICs. I hate constantly plugging wires in. Also, if you need any C compilers for any PIC, just ask ;)
Yeah, I love this hobby stuff. My lame blog is here if you wanna see:

I love PIC micros and programming them in C. And Maxim has a lot of DIP packages. I'm using the AS1107 driver from AustriaMicrosystems. It's a really cool chip to use.
Some microcontroller project. In this stage, I ordered some LED multiplexed drivers from Maxim IC and AustriaMicrosystems. Maxim gave me trouble. Austriamicrosystems went through customs and I didn't have to pay anything. I'm just building various projects and using the chips to interface to...
I really don't care for the details. How do I get out of paying a ridiculous fee for almost nothing? I guess I'll just tell my friend to ignore the package or something.
