A few from the weekend

Been a while since I posted here. Here is a small update: 2 last ones from my apartment. Paul

So what is this going to be? The driveway? I hate it when a hotel lobby is not at street level with the main entrance.

This building has a look of quality. Its very hard to describe.

For the last few days, all the Panasonic ads have been covered up. But not replaced. Paul

No chance to take a picture, but the TTC Streetcar tracks that pass under the torch are fenced off, so I dunno if this means they are going to eliminate the tracks or if this is just a temporary measure during construction. Paul

^^ No, they added little lights at the top of each column a few weeks ago. Paul

^^I want to see them rising in person, however nerdy that may sound, just interested in seeing such mamoth forms moving. Paul

I was there earlier this morning, just a little update this time. I hope they did not raise the forms again, I have never seen it and if I missed it by only a few hours I am going to be pissed. Paul

Little Update. Seems like they will have four elevators. The steel, where I assume the old facade will go is really weird, all jagged and huge. This kinda looked dangerous with the wind and all, but I am sure they knew what they were doing. Thanks Paul

Little Update, Been a really long time since I ventured in this part of town and I must say I like the progress on RBC and Ritz, even though the ritz remains very hard to photograph. Thanks. Paul
