I don't remember when I got it but it was less than 1% of the purchase price. Also, it all came at once. I remember getting the bill in September and all of the payments were due in Nov 1 and Dec 1 so make sure you've set aside some money. You'll also want to send it to your lawyer because...

Based on what I've read, that is only applicable between December 1 and March 31 (for snowplows)

A ticket for what? It's not illegal to park on the street on either side unless the city puts up a sign saying so. It's just incredibly annoying!

So, my apologies, we actually are on time of use - you have to log in to Toronto Hydro's website to actually see the detail. They must average out the total cost for billing purposes because on my bill I only see one rate.

We may be on smart meters but we're not on time of use - we have the same rate no matter what time of day or day of the week it is. Also, I still pay my property taxes directly, they don't go to my bank so I think that's different for each person.

I use my dishwasher twice a week, sometimes less, and have my thermostat set at 21. My hydro bill is around $50 each month (745 sqf condo)

So did we get a quorum? I wasn't able to make it (but did fill out my proxy in advance!). Anything exciting happen?

I just don't like not having the option. It seems ridiculous to go to the gym and then have to take the elevator up two floors. Also, sometimes when people are moving or an elevator is out of service, I end up waiting a long time when it would have just been easier to go up or down the stairs...

Has anybody spoken with management about being able to use the stairs in the buildings? They've put a door in the stairwell in M1 so that guests or other uninvited visitors can't just walk up the stairs from the parking garage. However, I would actually like to use the stairs and I can't...

I don't know how wide my drawer is but I got my tray from Bed Bath and Beyond and it fits perfectly

I think the market determines their salary but it will be interesting to hear if there is actually any accountability. Living in a condo has taught me that people, in general, are disgusting and don't care about their neighbours! Dogs barking, kids screaming and of course, garbage left on the...

What we're paying to the Superintendent isn't just his salary, but also the cost of having him occupy a suite. That includes maintenance fees, property taxes and hydro and possibly even the fair market value of the rent for his suite. As for the Property Management Office - the salaries don't...
